Continued...
It took Luis and Sheridan quite a few tries before they were finally able to make love with no interruptions!
Galen:
For a while, there was a lot of talking and not a lot of doing! I remember wondering how we were going to make it different when they finally did it.
McKenzie:
They definitely had us showing more when they actually made love. They really went far with it.
Galen:
The stuff on the shelves was shaking!
McKenzie:
My dad almost had to be taken to the nurses' office when he saw it! In his office, his desk faces towards the door and the television is to his right. His assistant is right in front of the TV. My dad watches the show everyday so they had it on. He was on the phone so he wasn't paying much attention. But his assistant saw what was going on so she muted it. But somehow it accidentally got un-muted, so all of a sudden he hears me moaning! He looked around and literally fell out of his chair!
Galen:
It's Murphy's Law. If my wife hasn't watched the show in a month, the day she turns it on we'll be making out.
Luis gave Sheridan the marriage proposal she'd always dreamed of.
McKenzie:
I loved how all that played out with his Grandmother's ring. It was so much sweeter than him just going out and buying a ring. Again, it was the meaning and sentiment behind it that mattered, not the monetary value.
Galen:
It was very meaningful for Luis to do that since it was a family heirloom. The Lopez-Fitzgeralds have a strongly knit family that is hard to break into. Since Luis was giving her a family ring, it was like letting her into the family. And I also liked that Luis proposed to Sheridan at the gazebo that his father built.
McKenzie:
The big moments like the proposal are what make it all worth it for me. When I get those kinds of scripts, I just race through the pages to see what's going to happen-like a fan.
Galen:
We can always tell what moments the fans are going to respond to. It's always exciting when we get those little nuggets.
Luis and Sheridan were all set to tie the knot in a double wedding with Ethan and Theresa...but Ivy crashed the celebration!
McKenzie:
That day was a turning point in Sheridan's life. She felt truly loved. Somebody was ready to stick by her side and be there for her.
Galen:
It was neat because these two characters had gone through so much adversity to get to this point. They cared about each other so much.
McKenzie:
The fans really liked the speech that Sheridan said to Luis. When I read it, I remember thinking it was really beautifully written.
Despite their "wedding that wasn't," Luis and Sheridan went on a romantic honeymoon to Bermuda...but the vacation ended in tragedy.
McKenzie:
The day we went out on the boat was the worst day I've had here.
Galen:
The funny thing was it started out as one of the best days.
McKenzie:
We were so excited! And all of the stuff on land was great! The problem was that the boat was anchored so the waves were hitting the side of it. But you're supposed to anchor it so you're riding into the waves. We were rocking up and down. I got so sick.
Galen:
Not to mention that we were anchored right off of the airport, so there were constantly planes, helicopters, jet skis, boats, water skiers, submarines-you name it! Nightmare! And I had to get in the water and I swear there was sewage in there. It was horrifying. Then to add insult to injury, the boat completely breaks down!
McKenzie:
So they sail us over to the big boat where they were doing the long shots. We get on there and we're just starting to get our bearings when they say to bring us back! The boat was fixed.
Galen:
We get back on the boat and the minute we do, it breaks down again.
McKenzie:
I watched the scenes and they actually looked good. I was shocked I didn't look green!
Passions' star-crossed lovers Luis and Sheridan have been apart since their doomed honeymoon, but they finally come face to face!
McKenzie:
When I read the script, I was looking to find where it said dream or fantasy. But it didn't say that anywhere so I thought--maybe this is for real. I was just so thrilled! I think it's going to be a memorable moment.
Galen:
I love the setup. You've got these four characters-Luis, Beth, Antonio and Sheridan and it had to all come together at some point. They've made some really interesting choices in terms of what they're doing with the material. It's really exciting because it opens up a lot of stuff for us to play. It's complicated.
McKenzie:
There are whole new issues for them now!
Galen:
I think fans will be enormously pleased that these two characters are back together. We are excited about what's going on, and that's usually a good indication that the fans are going to feel the same way.
McKenzie:
The magic is still there. It's like no time has passed.
