Sheridan Crane Lopez-Fitzgerald was in the hospital following the fire
at
her cottage, when she received some shocking news-she was pregnant!
Sheridan
was thrilled to be carrying the baby of Luis, the man that she loves
with
all of her heart. Of course, she is married to Luis' brother Antonio,
so he
was forced to ask the question on everyone's mind-which brother is the
daddy? While Sheridan admitted there was a possibility that Antonio
could be
the father, there was absolutely no doubt in her mind that the baby was
a
product of her love with Luis. Before Beth and Charlie abducted
Sheridan,
she wrote down some thoughts in a top-secret baby book. Of course, it's
under lock and key because of the explosive information inside. No one
will
ever see this baby book except for Sheridan...and now you!
Mother: Sheridan Crane Lopez-Fitzgerald
Father: Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald. There is no doubt in my mind that Luis
is the
father of my child. Our love is so strong, and this baby is the
ultimate
symbol of that love. Someday soon, Luis and I will finally tell Antonio
the
truth about our love and then the three of us can be a real family...the
way
we were meant to be.
Other Nearby Relatives: This baby will be surrounded by love from Luis'
side
of the family. The Lopez-Fitzgerald family is such a close-knit, loving
family and I am so grateful to be bringing a child into that kind of
love.
Pilar has always been like a mother to me, and I know she will be the
most
wonderful, doting grandmother in the world. Theresa and Miguel (and I
pray
someday Antonio) will also shower our child with love. And the best
part is
that our baby will have cousins very close in age to him or her. Little
Ethan won't be too much older, and Miguel's baby will be right around
the
same age as this baby. I love the idea of my child growing up with
family.
As for my side of the family, well-I intend to keep my little one as
far
away from the Cranes as possible! And of course, Gwen and Ethan may not
be
related by blood but I definitely consider them (and their bundle of
joy on
the way!) to be part of the family.
Pregnancy Symptoms: Well, I have to admit that this pregnancy has not
been
smooth sailing. I've been under a tremendous amount of stress. Between
having to keep such a huge secret from Antonio and the horrible
nightmares
I've been having, I feel like the weight of the world is on my
shoulders. As
a result, I've been prone to some pretty frightening fainting
spells-frightening for both me and those around me!
Cravings: Anything and everything sweet-ice cream, donuts, cookies-you
name
it! I've also had an appetite for Chinese food and pizza!
How I've Prepared for the Little One's Arrival: I've been seeing Dr.
Russell
regularly and attending Lamaze classes. I am also trying my hardest to
keep
my stress level down, although that has not been easy. And of course,
whenever I have free time I've been shopping, shopping and shopping!
I've
never been one to put much stock in material things, but I do want my
baby
to have the best of everything. After all, the Crane money should be
put to
some good use!
My Goals For the Little One: I want my baby to have the kind of loving
family that I never had. My mother died when I was so young and more
than
anything, I wished she was part of my life. I intend to be around to
see my
child go through everything from kindergarten to high school graduation
to
marriage! After my mother died, my father never gave me the love and
attention I yearned for. But I know that Luis will be an incredible
father.
When I was a little girl, I always dreamed that my children would have
a man
like Luis as a father, and now my dream has come true. More than
anything, I
want my child to know a real family...mother, father, and lots more
siblings
to come!
