ESCAPE - WEEK 6
Chaos erupts in the courtroom as Theresa is sentenced to death. An enraged Ethan vows to have the sentence overturned. He believes he'll have enough time to do so since the execution date will likely be a long way off. But the judge announces that Theresa will be put to death by lethal injection as soon as she delivers her baby! This could be sooner than anticipated, as Theresa doubles over in pain while being led back to her cell. Theresa is rushed to the hospital where her friends and family stand vigil-after all, as soon as she gives birth she will be executed! The contractions turn out to be false labor but Eve reveals to Ethan that Theresa could give birth at any time. Ethan realizes he has to take action and decides to help Theresa escape! Of course, Theresa is thrilled by the romantic notion of running off with Ethan and enthusiastically agrees. Once on the road, Theresa believes she and Ethan will live happily ever after-but there is danger that she doesn't know about. Eve receives Theresa's test results and realizes she has a serious medical condition-if she doesn't give birth in a hospital then she and her baby could die!

SURVIVAL - WEEK 7
While on the run, Theresa's hopes are dashed when Ethan states that he's not thinking about the future-only about safely delivering her baby. Theresa begins to have contractions but hides them from Ethan, out of fear of losing him. Ethan takes Theresa to the Crane cabin, where she continues to hide her contractions. Once there, he calls Gwen to tell her what's going on. Gwen figures out where they are and arrives at the cabin. Theresa is beside herself when she sees Gwen in Ethan's arms. Gwen begs Ethan to return to Harmony with her, but Ethan is adamant about helping Theresa. When Ethan leaves the room to call for the helicopter, Gwen and Theresa have it out. Later, Gwen learns from her mother that Theresa has a serious medical condition and must give birth in a hospital. Rebecca implores Gwen not to tell Theresa, but Gwen takes the high road. Unfortunately, Theresa doesn't believe her rival. When the helicopter arrives, Gwen tries once more to convince Ethan not to leave but he is determined. A victorious Theresa boards the helicopter with Ethan, hiding the fact that she is already in labor! Gwen watches in horror as the helicopter explodes!

PANIC - WEEK 8
Ethan and Theresa are not injured in the helicopter explosion-since they never made it onto the helicopter. Once back at the cabin, Theresa continues to cover her labor pains, but Gwen realizes her rival is in labor. After Ethan announces they are trapped in the cabin, Gwen says there is no hope for Theresa and her baby because of Theresa's preeclampsia. Theresa continues to delude herself, and Gwen brazenly asserts that Theresa doesn't care about her baby because it's Julian's. While Ethan is on the phone with Eve, Theresa, in a fit of psychotic rage, stabs Gwen! Ethan is shocked when he sees what Theresa has done. Theresa's episode continues as she then goes after Ethan! Finally, Theresa comes to her senses. Ethan tries to give Eve their location but the cell phone dies. Just then, Theresa's water breaks and she goes into intense labor. Ethan and Gwen realize they must deliver the baby! Meanwhile, Eve, Luis, and Sam arrive at the cabin...but so do the state troopers!

DESPERATION - WEEK 9
The state troopers demand that Theresa is turned over, but Sam insists that Theresa and her baby be rushed to the hospital. The state troopers relent when Eve announces Theresa and her baby will die if they do not get to the hospital. Once at the hospital, Theresa is stabilized but is horrified when her baby flatlines. Finally, Eve is able to save the baby and Theresa holds her beloved son for the first time. She is overjoyed that Ethan is at her side and even names the baby Ethan Martin. When the state troopers learn that Theresa and the baby are out of danger, they announce they must bring her to jail. Theresa bids an emotional goodbye to her family and friends but still believes she's going to be saved...even as she is brought to her prison cell on death row. Meanwhile, Ethan decides to appeal to the governor on Theresa's behalf, unaware that Alistair has already ordered the governor to send Theresa to the death chamber. Ethan is stunned when he realizes that Alistair wants Theresa to be executed. Defeated, Ethan tells Theresa the terrible news-that her execution is set for the next day.

EXECUTION - WEEK 10
Theresa reels at the news that her execution is set for the next day. But she holds onto her belief that Ethan will save her. The next morning, Ethan's attempts at a last-minute save are futile-Alistair has completely cut off any ways to save Theresa. In her jail cell, Theresa is visited by her loved ones. She breaks down in tears as she holds her baby for the last time. But even through her tears, Theresa believes that everything will be okay. The clock ticks down and finally, Theresa walks the green mile...straight to the death chamber. As her friends and family look on, Theresa receives lethal injections and is put to death for the murder of Julian Crane!

AFTERMATH
Theresa's loved ones are filled with grief as she takes her last breath. Alistair arranges for Theresa's coffin to be set up in the Crane living room, alongside a full-fledged memorial for the late Mrs. Julian Crane. Meanwhile outside of Harmony, Julian learns that his murderer has been punished and heads back to Harmony. After Julian's return, Alistair drops a huge bombshell--Theresa is alive! Alistair explains that he made sure Theresa only received sedatives instead of a lethal injection. He claims that he knew Julian would only come out of hiding once Theresa was "dead." While Theresa's friends and family rejoice over her return, Alistair reveals to Julian that this is all part of his plan for the Lopez-Fitzgerald family!
