Week of August 18 - 22

Whitney confronted Chad after finding him at the studio locking lips with Syd. Chad reassured Whitney that the kiss was just an "L.A." thing. At first, Whitney was skeptical, but finally admitted to Chad that she loves and trusts him. Meanwhile, Fox manipulated Syd into plotting to break up Chad and Whitney, figuring he could use this to his advantage in getting Whitney for himself. Whitney questioned Fox about the identity of his love. Despite his evasiveness, Whitney "figured it out." Fox was delighted that she seemed to return his affections, until he realized Whitney thought his love was Theresa! Whitney tried to get Fox and Theresa together, but Chad believed Fox's love might really be Whitney! Meanwhile, Ethan admitted to Theresa that he would have proposed to Theresa if Gwen hadn't found out she was pregnant. Theresa took hope from this admission, but Ethan stated that he and Theresa could never be together-he loves his wife and baby. Theresa wouldn't give up and kissed Ethan passionately. Ethan responded to her kiss and the two got caught up in their passion until Ethan pulled away. In a big moment, Ethan admitted he still does love Theresa but insisted they couldn't be together. Theresa was left in tears when Ethan left her to see Gwen. Gwen smelled women's perfume on Ethan, but he covered.
