Timeline of a teen terror
Kay Bennett has been in love with childhood buddy, Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald, for as long as she can remember. She always figured that someday they'd wind up together...that is, until Charity Standish arrived in town. Miguel and Charity fell in love at first sight, and Kay was left out in the cold. To make matters worse, Kay discovered that Charity wasn't just any girl-she was her long lost cousin! And when Charity's mother died in a fire, Charity came to live with Kay's family.

Soon, Charity was getting so much attention from Kay's parents, Sam and Grace, that Kay felt like an outsider in her own home! And if that wasn't bad enough-Miguel and Charity seemed to be joined at the hip. But Kay is not the kind of girl to give up. Instead, the troublemaking teen devised scheme after scheme to break up Miguel and Charity...including plots that actually put Charity's life in danger.

But Kay reached a new low when she actually sold her soul to a witch named Hecuba in order to get Miguel for herself! As a result of this misdeed, hell came to Harmony...and Charity, Miguel, and Kay were all trapped in the fiery flames! Eventually, the kids were rescued and Kay finally got her soul back (thanks to Timmy's kind gesture).

You'd think after being devoid of a soul and spending time in hell, Kay would have finally learned her lesson about being a "bad girl." But that's where you'd be very, very wrong. To relive the chain of events that led to Kay's deepest descent into the dark side and the severe ramifications that resulted, follow along our handy timeline!

--After getting her soul back, Kay actually vows to town priest, Father Lonigan, that she will be good from here on out.

--Kay soon finds her vow is hard to keep. At the rehearsal for the double wedding of Ethan and Theresa, and Luis and Sheridan, Kay spots Charity and Miguel kissing. The hurt teen confesses to an angel stature that she can't help the desire to be bad. Kay is shaken when the statue sheds a tear on her hand.

--Later, Kay watches Charity and Miguel joyfully dance together. She crushes a rose and draws her own blood...

--School-nerd Reese tells Kay a legend about Warlock Island, where the kids are planning to take a school trip. Apparently, two cousins who were interested in the same boy visited the island years ago. Once there, the girlfriend of the boy died and the other girl wound up with the boy. After hearing the tale, Kay hopes fate will get rid of Charity for her. That way, she can still stick to her promise of being good!

--On Warlock Island, Kay confides in best friend, Simone Russell, that something in the air makes her feel uninhibited. As a result, Kay intends to sneak into Miguel's tent, make love to him, and get pregnant...despite her promise to be good!

--Kay puts her plan into action by undressing in Miguel's tent and crawling into his sleeping bag. Unfortunately, her plan is thwarted when the kids must tend to their burning boat.

--After their boat burns up, the kids make a "help" sign on the beach out of wood. They plan to set it on fire to attract attention. However, Kay has other ideas. She throws water on the kindling so that they'll have to stay on the island longer. Kay is sure she just needs a little more time to get Miguel to make love to her.

--Kay purposely distracts Reese from watching Charity...and as a result, Charity wanders off and gets trapped in a cave!

--When the kids are finally rescued from the island, Kay is deeply affected to learn her father almost died when they were gone. Kay pledges to always be good.

--This time, Kay's vow proves to be very short-lived. Kay is rocked to the core to learn that her mother is not really married to her father, but to David Hastings! Kay puts everything together and realizes she's a bastard! She declares that from now on nothing will stop her from getting Miguel. She realizes there's no point to being good-her parents are good and look where it's gotten them!

--Once Kay's fury has been unleashed, there's no stopping her! Harmony's resident witch, Tabitha, takes advantage of this and vows to help the girl with her devious deeds. Kay hears a voice beckon her to Tabitha's attic and follows it. Thanks to Tabitha, the "Spells of Pain" appears before Kay.

--Kay reads a spell from the book...but it's not the right one. In fact, it turns her into a panther! But that doesn't stop the determined girl-she is hell-bent on finding the right spell.

--Kay is almost caught when Charity declares that Kay is reading a book of evil! Kay covers by pretending to be perusing the Bible. When Grace learns Kay was reading the Bible, she's suspicious. A hurt Kay claims no one ever takes her side...and feels further alienated from her family.

--More determined than ever, Kay reads a spell and morphs into Charity! Kay is pleased as punch when Miguel kisses her!

--Kay loses it when Grace tells "Charity" (A.K.A Kay) that if Kay acted badly against Charity, she would defend Charity. Hearing her mother's betrayal, Kay once again vows against being good.

--Kay is not about to give up on the "Spells of Pain." She casts a spell to break up the "happy couple." However, Kay's spell misses its mark and hits her mother! Kay decides to try it again. This time, she's thrilled when Miguel kisses her. But Kay gets a huge shock when she realizes she's really kissing a delighted Reese!

--The kids go ice-skating and Kay decides to bring the book. During a game of hide and seek, she realizes she finally has her chance. The powerful book speaks to Kay and asks if she wants to go ahead with the spell. Of course, her answer is yes. There's no turning back after that. Letters appear in blood on the page! And as Kay reads the spell, demons shoot into her body, causing her eyes and ears to drip with blood. Kay has clearly given herself over to the darkside. The end result? Charity is encased in a block of ice!
